Kitchen Lead/ Line Cook

Goose Hummock Golf Resort is seeking a dedicated and skilled individual to join our team as a Lead Cook for the 2024 Golf Season. As a Lead Cook, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our kitchen and delivering high-quality meals to our customers. Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook meals according to established recipes and portion sizes
- Ensure that all food is prepared and served in accordance with food safety guidelines
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area
- Assist with inventory management and ordering supplies as needed
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient workflow and timely service
- Follow all health and safety regulations while handling food and operating kitchen equipment
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing any concerns or special requests

Qualifications
- Previous experience in a similar role within the food industry is preferred
- Knowledge of food safety practices and procedures
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow recipes accurately
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality standards
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well within a team
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
