Job Description: We are seeking a motivated and dedicated individual to join our team as a Kitchen Helper/Cashier. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring smooth operations in our kitchen and providing excellent customer service to our valued patrons.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in food preparation, including chopping, slicing, and assembling dishes according to recipes and standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen, including washing dishes, sanitizing surfaces, and disposing of waste properly.
• Operate cash registers and handle customer transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Greet customers, take orders, and provide information about menu items.
• Ensure food quality by monitoring cooking temperatures, freshness, and presentation.
• Collaborate with the Kitchen Staff to ensure timely order preparation and delivery.
• Follow food safety and hygiene protocols to maintain a safe and sanitary kitchen environment.
• Restock supplies as needed and notify the manager of any shortages.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a kitchen or customer service role is a plus but not required.
• Basic math skills and proficiency in handling cash transactions.
• Strong communication skills and a friendly demeanor when interacting with customers.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Willingness to learn and take direction from senior staff members.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
• Food safety certification is required (will pay for course if needed)
• Pro Serve is required (will pay for course if needed)
