Kumon Teaching Assistant

Responsibilities:
- Assist the lead teacher in implementing lesson plans and educational activities
- Provide support to students in the classroom, including one-on-one tutoring and small group instruction
- Help maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment
- Assist with classroom management and behavior management strategies
- Collaborate with the lead teacher to assess student progress and provide feedback to parents/guardians
Requirements:
- Experience working with children in an educational setting
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and other staff members
- Knowledge of tutoring techniques and strategies
- Familiarity with educational technology and classroom resources
- Ability to adapt to the needs of individual students and differentiate instruction as necessary
