We are currently looking for 1 full time employee, to join our team as a Quality Lab Technician. This position will be based out of Fredericton, New Brunswick.

Position Summary:

Reporting to the Quality Manager, the primary responsibilities for the Lab Technician is to analyze raw ingredients and finished product samples to ensure compliance to our product specifications, update records, and perform Quality checks throughout the facility.

Key responsibilities will include:

· Preparing samples for third party testing and updating records with results.

· Testing samples for compliance.

· Completing all documentation required for testing product samples and communication of results.

· Sorting lots, archive samples, and lab cleaning.

· Customer complaint investigations.

· Updating SOP’s

Qualifications: Minimum

· Mature

· Work independently and quickly to meet changing priorities.

· Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

· The ability to follow instructions / procedures.

· Good interpersonal skills.

· Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite with advanced excel skills.

· High School Diploma

· Accuracy and attention to detail is a must.

Qualifications: Desirable but not essential as training will be provided

· Lab experience considered an asset but not required (training is provided)

· WHMIS

· Health & Safety training

Working Conditions:

· Monday – Friday

· Work is in a laboratory setting and in the production areas, use of safety shoes required.

· Ability to lift 25kg if needed.

· Ability to work overtime if needed.

Location: Based out of Fredericton, New Brunswick

Mobility: Must have own transportation
