Labourer, Framing Construction

Are you looking to kick-start your career in the construction industry? We are currently seeking a motivated and dedicated Construction Labourer to join our team. As a Construction Labourer, you will play a vital role in supporting our construction projects and contribute building communities in Ottawa. If you enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and have a passion for construction, this opportunity is perfect for you.

The shift will be Monday to Thursday from 7:00 am to 4:30 pm and Friday from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm. Must have a willingness to travel and reliable transportation.

The Role

• Assist in the structural framing of residential homes
• Complete the strapping on houses 1st, 2nd, and basement living areas
• Construction of drops, bulk heads, stud straightening, finished basements and stairs
• Review and follow working drawings
• Building frost walls and basement bulk headers
• Conducts work safety and adheres to safety protocols
• Perform additional duties, as required

• Physical stamina and ability to perform manual labour and lift 50 pounds
• Ability to adhere to standardized work
• Basic knowledge of construction tools and equipment
• Strong work ethic and a positive attitude

• Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team
• Certified in Working At Heights
• Ability to commit to the work schedule with punctuality
