Federated Co-operatives Limited (FCL) is hiring two Labourers to join our Maintenance Relief Pool on a permanent basis at our Co-op Refinery Complex in Regina, SK.
Shift: 4 days on, 3 days off (Mon – Thurs or Tues – Fri, rotating) - 37.33 Hours/week

What you’ll do:
- The Maintenance Relief Pool are Labourers responsible for carrying out a variety of tasks that support the overall operation of the Refinery Complex.
- Candidates must be prepared to work outside in all weather conditions.
- Tasks include but are not limited to:
- Gardening, maintenance of sprinkler systems, weed and lawn control, hand excavating and general landscaping.
- Snow and Ice control and removal.
- Cleaning units including oil spills, utilizing a high-pressure washer and/or a water hose from a hydrant.
- Performing general site cleanup/organization, housekeeping and tool maintenance.
- Painting activities.
- Jackhammering.
- Helping Maintenance Trades on a relief basis when required.
- Work in confined space and from heights will be required.

The Team: You will work closely with other team members across the Maintenance Department and will report into the Trades Supervisor.

Who you are:
You are looking for a career in Production, Trades and Maintenance and:
- Have a grade 12 diploma or equivalent with Chemistry, 30, Physics 30, and Math 30. If you do not have one or two of these classes, you will have 1-year to complete them.
- Ideally, have a minimum of 1 year of related labourer experience, preferably in an industrial setting.
- Are mechanically inclined, experience operating equipment such as a Skid Steer and Loader would be considered an asset.
- Are physically capable to perform work such as repetitive lifting, climbing stairs and ladders, work in confined spaces, and stand for long periods of time.
- Have good interpersonal and communication skills.
This is a unionized role that resides with UNIFOR Canada Local 594 offering a wage of $38.12 an hour. As a union member, you would be subject to pay union dues as part of the collective agreement.
