Job Description

Scholten's Landscape Limited is seeking a Landscape Technician to join our team in Saint John, NB. This is a full-time position with the possibility of overtime.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Install, maintain, and repair landscape installations.
• Perform preventative maintenance on landscape installations.
• Install and maintain landscape plants.
• Prune, mulch, and/or remove trees for removal or disposal.
• Perform tree services including pruning and removal.
• Perform landscaping services such as mulching, planting, tree removal and more.
• Operate equipment such as Skid Steers and small excavators to load or transport material or equipment to install or maintain landscape features.

Qualifications:

• Valid Class 5/ 5F/ G driver's license (cars, small trucks and other 2-axle vehicles) required
• Valid Class 3 driver's license is considered an asset
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds regularly
• Ability to work outdoors in all types of weather conditions throughout the season
• Ability to safely use basic landscaping tools (trimming stakes, pruners, edgers; chippers; etc.) and safety equipment

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $19.00-$24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week

Flexible Language Requirement:

• French not required

Schedule:

• Day shift
• Monday to Friday

Supplemental pay types:

• Overtime pay
