Landscaping Supervisor

Location: Selkirk, Manitoba

Hourly Rate: $25 - $30 per hour (with potential performance-based incentives & tips).

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm (half-hour lunch). Overtime may be available and occasionally required during evenings and weekends.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in landscaping, with expertise in sod installation, hardscaping, and equipment operation.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team.
• Proficient in project management, including planning and scheduling.
• Excellent communication skills with clients and team members.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and supervise a team of landscaping labourers to ensure projects are completed efficiently and to high-quality standards.
• Oversee all aspects of landscaping jobs, including sod installation, hardscaping, and equipment operation.
• Manage project timelines and materials, ensuring deadlines are met and resources are utilized effectively.
• Coordinate with clients to understand their needs and preferences, providing expert advice and recommendations as needed.
• Maintain a safe working environment, adhering to all relevant health and safety regulations.

Qualifications:

• Several years of experience in landscaping, with a focus on sodding, hardscaping, and equipment operation.
• Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate a team.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficient knowledge of landscaping techniques, materials, and equipment use.
• A proactive and self-motivated approach to work, with a commitment to delivering exceptional results.
