Lawn Care Technician

Job Duties:

· Apply fertilizer and pest control products to customer’s lawns.

· Operate a variety of Lawn Care equipment including but not limited to aerators and seeders.

· Operate a company owned motor vehicle throughout service territory.

· Respond to customer issues promptly and with a high level of caring.

· Complete all assigned necessary administrative work.

· Ability to work independently or as part of a team.

· Maintenance of equipment and vehicle to ensure cleanliness and operational efficiency.

Skills and Qualifications:

· Previous experience in the turf industry, Lawn Care or golf course maintenance considered an asset. 2 years preferred.

· A positive attitude and an energetic self starter.

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

· An ability to read and understand written instructions.

· Good problem solving, organization and time management skills.

. Dependable, reliable

· Capable of performing physical requirements of the job. Overall physical fitness and ability to lift 55lbs.

· Comfortable working in a variety of weather conditions.

· Valid G Driver Licence with a clean driver’s abstract (to be provided upon hire).

· Transportation available to get to our rural location.

Expected start right away.

Job Types: Full-time, Seasonal
Contract length: 7 months

Salary: $20.00-$25.00 per hour
