Lawyer / Trademark Agent with Minimum 3-Years IP Experience

We are looking for an individual who will blend in with our firm’s culture and take on the role of handling trademark prosecution, oppositions, s45 proceedings, and has experience litigating infringement and passing off cases as well as appeals of Trademarks Office decisions at the Federal court.

Income negotiable based on qualifications and experience.

Required Qualifications

The ideal applicant will have

- At least 5 years of experience practicing IP law;

- Be a Class 1 licensed Trademark Agent;

- Excellent technical skills, written and oral communication skills;

- Ability to be both a self-starter and a team player;

- Must be a member of the Ontario Bar in good standing with the Law Society of Ontario;
The successful candidate will have the support and encouragement of the firm with business development.

Salary: From $100,000.00 per year

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
