A key member of the Operations Team, the Lead Customer Service Representative, will be responsible for overseeing the daily operation of the Customer Service Department and reports directly to the Manager of Sales.
CORE DUTIES:
· Manage the Customer Service Representatives at each Terminal Location
· Monitor Key Performance Indicators
· Increase sales through the addition of new customers and new lanes from existing customers
· Work with Planning to fill empty lanes and balance lanes
· Assist in resolving customer concerns such as Claims, Accounts Receivables and Billing
· Lead regular team meetings
· Conduct annual performance reviews
· Coach and Train staff
QUALIFICATIONS
· Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite
· Proficient in Truckmate would be considered an asset
· Relevant post-secondary education or a combination of related education and experience is required
