Lead Equipment Operator

Mantario Tree Service is looking for a dedicated LeadEquipment Operator and hard-working individual to join their team from April – October 2024. Our ideal candidate should be responsible, a problem solver and a natural leader.

What you will do:

• Lead a small team installing Canada Post boxes and providing tree removal throughout Whiteshell, MB, and Kenora, ON
• Install Canada Post boxes and provide support to the team who is completing the installations
• Provide tree removal services to clients from Whiteshell to Kenora
• Operate and maintain equipment such as a skid steer and excavator
• Responsible for carrying out other duties as assigned

Must Haves

• 3+ years’ experience using heavy machinery, including but not limited to skid steers and excavators
• Ability to perform strenuous manual labor and work in all weather conditions
• Work full time from April – October
• Able to lift up to 50lbs
• Comfortable using machinery and tools daily
• Valid 5F driver’s license and own transportation to and from work
• Clear criminal record check

Nice to Have:

• Previous experience managing or leading a team
• Previous experience in landscaping or laborer
• Valid class 5F driver’s license

Salary: $28.00-$35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
