Leadhand Painter

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Oversee and lead a team of painters in completing various painting projects
• Assist in hiring and train new team members
• Ensure high-quality workmanship and adherence to project specifications and timelines
• Prepare surfaces for painting, including sanding, patching, and priming
• Apply paint or other finishes using brushes, rollers, or sprayers
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Coordinate with clients to understand their painting needs and provide excellent customer service
• Assist with color selection and provide recommendations based on client preferences
• Repair and restore damaged surfaces as needed
• Collaborate with other tradespeople and departments to complete projects that require additional skills

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in industrial equipment painting and Large vehicle painting projects
• Strong knowledge of various painting techniques, materials, and tools
• Proven experience in leadership role
• Ability to read blueprints and interpret project specifications
• Excellent time management skills to ensure projects are completed on schedule
• Strong attention to detail and ability to deliver high-quality workmanship
• Ability to lead a team effectively and provide guidance as needed
• Excellent customer service skills to interact with clients in a professional manner
• Familiarity with power tools used in painting projects
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: $28.21-$32.91 per hour
