We are currently recruiting an energetic individual who has a passion for supporting the learning of those people with disabilities.

The Learning Circle Program Coordinator will provide a vibrant learning experience for people with disabilities in both a classroom and community setting; giving individuals the personal tools and experiences needed to thrive within their own community and among their friends/family. The job includes facilitating in a group setting as well as one to one work with clients in the community and supervising one additional staff member. The successful individual will be expected to work as part of a team, contribute to all aspects of strategic program planning and development & support program Lacombe Shift is M-F 8am-4pm.

Responsibilities:

• Support clients with developmental disabilities
• Assist clients with learning a developed curriculum
• Facilitate presentation and activities in and out of the office
• Complete paperwork and documentation in a timely and organized manner
• Able to follow clear direction from supervisors to support clients

Requirements:

• Looking for an energetic person with strong leadership and organizational skills needed to be able to coordinate with multiple departments/services and lead a small staffing compliment.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Comfortable working both alone and part of a team
• Valid Class 5 Driver's License and own vehicle
• Clean criminal record check

Qualifications:

• Requires a 2 year Diploma in Human Services.
• 1 years directly related experience
