Library Access Services Manager
Medicine Hat College’s Library Services department is welcoming applications for a full-time, regular, Library Access Services Manager.
A little about the role:
The primary area of responsibility for the Library Access Services Manager is to provide leadership and direction for the public services areas of the library. This involves managing the services and staff that provide circulation, multimedia, technology assistance, faculty and student support functions for both the Medicine Hat campus and Brooks campus library. This position cultivates a welcoming service environment for the delivery of frontline services to students, faculty, and the college community. This position also serves in a professional capacity on internal and external committees.
The salary range for this position is $69,249 - $81,003 per annum.
As a successful candidate you will have:
- A postsecondary degree in library, education, business administration, management, or related field.
- A minimum of 3 years related experience, including management experience and customer services experience.
- Equivalent combinations of education and work experience will be considered.
- Excellent customer service, communication and interpersonal skills.
