Bordering Banff National Park, Schott’s Lake Conference & Resort. is a magnificent wilderness oasis with a backdrop of the beautiful Canadian Rockies. With a full service restaurant and licensed patio overlooking the lake, motel, cabins, camping and conference facilities, we are definitely a going concern! Next up is an amphitheatre and event centre. Located just 90 mins from Calgary (15km West of Sundre, Alberta), we cater to local foodies as well as regional/international special events/guests and host various year round seasonal type of activities. We are passionate about cooking from scratch with local ingredients to create exceptional cuisine. We are looking for an experienced Line Cook to further complement our kitchen team and be a part of showcasing our amazing food experience to the world! Did we mention we are very busy!
Responsibilities
- Check inventory for ingredients and supplies
- Prepping ingredients before each meal service
- Preparing dishes following Executive/Sous Chef exact recipe instructions
- Plating and garnishing dishes before they are served
- Cleaning work areas once meal service is done
Qualifications
- Completion of a culinary program preferred
- 3 years cooking in a professional kitchen
- Excelling in a variety of cooking styles and techniques
- Knowledge of food safety rules and regulations
- Flexible schedule
