Liquor Store Clerk

Responsibilities will include:

• Providing exceptional member service with a positive, professional approach and attitude toward customers
• Being dependable for all scheduled shifts
• Developing a good understanding and operating of the till
• Assisting in packing customer purchases at the checkout counter
• Stocking shelves as required and make necessary deliveries.
• Maintaining a neat, clean and orderly location at all times by using good housekeeping standards
• Adhering to all Evergreen Cooperative Association policies and procedures and participate in the Health and Safety program.
• Completing any other duties as assigned
This position requires an ample amount of static standing, lifting, bending, and twisting.

We are ideally seeking candidates with the following qualifications:

• Organizational skills and great time management
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Liquor product knowledge is an asset.
• Must obtain Proserv certificate within a month of hire date.
• Ability to work independently in a team environment.
• Ability to handle multiple demands at once while still providing excellent customer service.
Ability to lift 50 lbs unassisted.
