About the Role:

We are seeking a compassionate, skilled, and dedicated live-in Caregiver for our elderly parents, with an initial focus on our father's care and potential future care needs of our mother. The caregiver will be a key part of our parents' daily lives, providing comprehensive care and ensuring their well-being in a safe, positive, and nurturing environment.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with daily living activities, including personal care, mobility support, and dressing.
• Perform household tasks like cooking, cleaning, and grocery shopping.
• Facilitate and oversee exercises and physical activities, ensuring adherence to fitness regimes.
• Accompany to medical appointments and assist with medication management.
• Provide companionship and engage in social and recreational activities.
• Be readily available to respond to emergencies and contact medical services if necessary.
• Maintain strict confidentiality regarding all personal and financial matters of the family.
• Gradually extend care responsibilities to include our mother, as her needs evolve over time.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in caregiving, particularly with elderly clients.
• Training or certification in elder care, nursing, or a related field.
• Ability to manage medical conditions and provide post-surgery care.
• First Aid and CPR certification.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal skills, and ability to maintain professional boundaries.
• Background check, criminal record check, and reference verification.
