Responsibilities:
- Provide in-home care to clients based on their individual needs and care plans
- Assist with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
- Prepare and serve meals according to dietary restrictions and preferences
- Perform light housekeeping tasks, such as cleaning and organizing client's living space
- Administer medications as prescribed by healthcare professionals
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
- Assist with mobility and transfers
- Monitor and report any changes in client's condition to the appropriate healthcare professionals
Skills:
- Experience in meal preparation and knowledge of dietary restrictions
- Ability to maintain a clean and organized environment
- Familiarity with hospice care and dementia care techniques
- Strong patient care skills, including empathy and compassion
- Knowledge of assisted living and nursing home procedures
- Understanding of home care principles and practices
- Ability to provide caregiving services with professionalism and respect
- Proficiency in medication administration
