Job Description
Under the supervision of the Manager, the loader/unloader may work in 3 departments, assembly, paint line and masking, depending on the need of the company. The loader/unloader will be required to lift metal parts up to 50 lbs.
Role & Responsibility
- Follow the steps using the manufacturing software (VKS).
- Put metal sheet on the paint line.
- Collect and hang the prepared materials.
- Once the pieces is painted, unhook the parts and stack them in a proper manner.
- Assemble parts using electric and pneumatic tools.
- Prepare products for shipment.
- Responsible for the installation of fasteners and hardware onto product.
- Set up pemsert machines.
- Ensure quality and self-inspection are carried out as per procedure.
- Cover the portions of the parts to be free of paint, according to customer specifications.
- Provide equipment to operators using a manual or electric jigger.
- Transporting material from one department to another.
- Experience in a manufacturing or equivalent environment.
- Positive attitude.
- Being able to lift metal pieces of 50 pounds.
- Ability to meet deadlines and align productivity with the organization's performance indicators and objectives.
- Adaptability, learning, and problem-solving skills.
- Good manual dexterity, meticulousness, and resourcefulness.
- Advanced spoken and written bilingualism (French – English) – an asset.
