About the Job:
The Area Coordinators role is to connect the new residents to their local community. By presenting them with a welcome package, which includes information about local and community services. In partnership together with local businesses, the Area Coordinators share information about their services, to showcase to the new residents the benefits of shopping local in the community, and what the community has to experience.
The Area Coordinator puts together the welcome packages, and provides a person to person delivery and greeting. Every Area Coordinator is responsible to collect, manage, and deliver items collected from partners and other community services.
Neighbourhood Welcome PR Corp is very team focused, holding weekly team calls for training and collaboration which are an important part of the role, and success in this position.

Objectives:
- Connecting with your community through meeting new residents, making connections with local groups, and building relationships with the local business force.
- To gain partnerships with the program with local businesses, to work with them to provide beneficial marketing material in the welcome packages.
- Collect and keep track of inventory from our business partners and community services, to be able to put together welcome packages.
- To facilitate person to person delivery of welcome packages to the new residents.
- To manage your area social media facebook account with 3-5 posts per week; showcasing business partnerships, community services, events, etc.
- To attend 1-2 team zoom calls each week.
Competencies:
- Have a friendly, polite, and an enthusiastic attitude
- Be organized, able to mulit-task, and great time management skills
- Have an understanding of web based programs such as Google Drive, Sheets, Docs, Gmail etc.
- To be familiar with and have experience using social media platforms ( more training will be provided)
- To be self motivated, set goals, be able to meet deadlines
- Have relationship building skills
- A willingness to develop effective sales skills
