Our Thornbury plant location is currently seeking a:

Logistics / Traffic Coordinator

The preferred candidate will have:

· A demonstrated commitment to promoting a safe working environment,

· A post-secondary education in a related discipline along with 3- 5 years related experience in logistics and traffic.

· Previous experience with both international and domestic freight.

· Previous experience working in an ERP environment along with strong computer skills using Microsoft Office.

The position responsibilities include:

· This position is responsible for both Domestic North American and International freight.

· Acts as a resource for freight pricing and problem solving for Manufacturing and Sales.

· Obtain quotes from carriers and decide on the best shipping routes for outbound freight.

· Works with Supply Chain Manager to create a strategy for all inbound and outbound freight.

· Review carrier quotes and negotiates freight price.

· Review and approve freight invoices.

· Collaborates with carriers to ensure on time delivery to customer.

· Communicates with customer and/or Sales group regarding delays or problems with shipments.

· Prepares shipping paperwork including Customs Invoice, BOL, Cert. of Origin and other paperwork required for each shipping destination.

· Acts as the main point of contact for Customs documentation and issue resolution.

· Works with accounting and production to coordinate shipments as payment is received and equipment is produced.

· Review order contracts to ensure all customer logistical requirements are met.

· Completes receiving data entry of purchased parts into ERP system.

· Completes NCR process for purchased parts that do not pass warehouse inspection process.

· Completes inventory location changes for inventory items.

· Book freight for incoming and return of purchased parts to vendors.

· Works within expected company standards regarding ethics, safety, quality / ISO and environmental matters.dinator!

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $36,832.18-$71,078.33 per year

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday

Supplemental pay types:
