Long Distance Driver

Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and experienced long-haul driver to join our team. As a long-haul driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods and materials to various locations.

Responsibilities:
- Safely transport household goods from residence to residence
- Load and unload furniture from the vehicle
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations
- Maintain accurate records of shipments, including time, date, and quantity of goods transported
- Communicate with dispatchers to coordinate delivery schedules
- Ensure that all necessary paperwork, such as delivery receipts and bills of lading, are completed accurately and submitted on time
- Perform routine inspections on vehicles, such as checking oil levels, tire pressure, and brakes

Skills:
- Experience in commercial driving
- Excellent driving skills with a clean driving record
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow directions
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
