Low Voltage Technician - Audio Visual

What we are looking for:

Slinger Solutions is seeking a knowledgeable, self-motivated Low Voltage Technician that will bring excellent troubleshooting, installation, and client relation skills. They are able to work with management, designers, and clients to figure out the most optimal solution per their scope of work. They have experience in installation, programming, and making records of relevant system information. Installation and service including but not limited to systems for whole home/standalone audio/video (MoIP, Sonos, multi-zone amplifiers), security systems (DSC, Qolsys, Alarm.com, AXIS), access control (Alarm.com, Kantech, AXIS) lighting/shading control (Lutron, Crestron, Control4, Savant), networking (ISP router/modem, Araknis, OvRC), and integrated control (Crestron, Control4, and Savant). They typically are provided their own van and are in charge of maintaining cleanliness and inventory.

What we need from you

• 2 years of knowledge and experience in AV installation are required.
• Experience in troubleshooting and performing service calls is an asset.
• Must have an understanding of cabling installations, and terminations.
• Construction knowledge is an asset.
• Able to work independently and or as part of a team.
• Excellent customer service skills
• Valid driver’s license and clean driver's abstract
• Maintain inventory and cleanliness of vehicles.

What you will do

• Maintain rapport with clients from installation planning to job completion.
• Installation and service of systems for whole home/standalone audio/video (MoIP, Sonos, multi-zone amplifiers), security systems (DSC, Qolsys, Alarm.com, AXIS), access control (Alarm.com, Kantech, AXIS) lighting/shading control (Lutron, Crestron, Control4, Savant), networking (ISP router/modem, Araknis, OvRC), and integrated control (Crestron, Control4, and Savant).
• Willingness to learn new hardware.
• Maintains detailed job records on the service and installation at each project.
• Accomplish operations and organization mission by representing the company, its products, and services with a knowledgeable and professional approach.
