Lower Elementary Teacher (Grade 1/2)

My name is Mike Daniels, and I am the principal of Cherry Coulee Christian Academy in the busy town of Bow Island, AB, right on highway #3 just outside of Medicine Hat to the East, and Taber and Lethbridge to the West.

CCCA is an accredited private Christian school, grades K-12. We have partnered with Master’s Academy out of Calgary to change the educational culture of our school and create future ready students. Our Lower Elementary has been growing and we are looking for creative, energetic, Christian teachers to join our young teaching staff.

CCCA is an amazing school for beginning teachers to get great, practical teaching experience (the opportunity to grow and to find out who you are as a teacher) with smaller class sizes, and students with country values. Nothing more comforting than to be able to speak about Christ in the classroom and helping students build a Christian worldview to prepare them for the world in which we live, while educating them in the skills and giving them the tools they will use throughout their lives after school.

The successful candidate must agree with our Statement of Faith, as well as have a Bachelor of Education degree and hold (or be eligible for) a valid Alberta teaching certificate, and have a passion for Christian Education.
