Machine Operator

POSITION:Full Time Machine Operator

SITE:Rahn Plastics Inc. North Bay, Ontario

HOURS:All shifts as scheduled

Rate: Rate will vary based on experience

QUALIFICATIONS AND TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES:

· High School Diploma required

· CNC knowledge and/or experience an asset

· Knowledge of machining operations and moulding operations an asset

· Able to follow directions, spec sheets, and basic drawings an asset

· Able to follow all safety policies at all times and work safely on a daily basis

· Conversant in ISO 9001:2015 an asset

· Basic math skills to calculate production quantities and quality measurements

· Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment

· Highly flexible with solid interpersonal skills that allow one to work effectively in a diverse working environment

· Ability to work different shifts, days, afternoons, midnights

· Require excellent attendance in a lean manufacturing environment

· Valid class G Driver’s Licence

· Basic First Aid required

RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Run daily production on CNC Machines

· Meet daily quotas and measure equipment accurately

· Interpretation of drawings

· Maintain neat and accurate paper work daily

· Keep work area neat and tidy at all times
