Machine Operator

Job Summary:

We are seeking multiple Machine Operators to join our team. The Machine Operator will be responsible for operating and maintaining various types of machinery to ensure efficient production.

Position Responsibilities

• Setup and operate production machine without assistance (other than operator assistant)
• Ensure all job costs, materials and labour are charged against the project work order
• Record and report critical production information (i.e. scrap, good pieces, shortages, overs, etc.)
• Monitor machine production quality
• Identify and report on machine repair and/ or maintenance requirements
• Ensure machine has necessary consumables, material and labour to operate
• Oversee Machine Operator assistant (if applicable)
• Minor machine troubleshooting for required repairs and maintenance
• Training Machine Operator - Entry level to operating machine
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications & Skills

• Experience as a Machine Operator – Entry
• Machine specific technical
• Experiences with ERP systems
• Ability to execute project requirements based on work order details and instructions
• Ability to identify quality issues as compared to sample/ specs
• Time management and organizational skills
• Ability to follow standard operating procedures
• Ability to follow health and safety policies
