Job Summary:
We are seeking multiple Machine Operators to join our team. The Machine Operator will be responsible for operating and maintaining various types of machinery to ensure efficient production.
Position Responsibilities
- Setup and operate production machine without assistance (other than operator assistant)
- Ensure all job costs, materials and labour are charged against the project work order
- Record and report critical production information (i.e. scrap, good pieces, shortages, overs, etc.)
- Monitor machine production quality
- Identify and report on machine repair and/ or maintenance requirements
- Ensure machine has necessary consumables, material and labour to operate
- Oversee Machine Operator assistant (if applicable)
- Minor machine troubleshooting for required repairs and maintenance
- Training Machine Operator - Entry level to operating machine
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications & Skills
- Experience as a Machine Operator – Entry
- Machine specific technical
- Experiences with ERP systems
- Ability to execute project requirements based on work order details and instructions
- Ability to identify quality issues as compared to sample/ specs
- Time management and organizational skills
- Ability to follow standard operating procedures
- Ability to follow health and safety policies
