Machine Operator

Our client, an innovative manufacturer of high-end, superior-quality dampers and air control products, serving commercial, industrial, and institutional markets. Located in Smiths Falls, they are looking for reliable Machine Operators to join their team.
Must have, clear criminal background and be mechanically inclined! This is non-negotiable, reliable transportation, ability to work 40-hour work week, professional attitude, and excellent work ethic.
In this role you will start as a general labourer. This role is very physical. You must be mechanically inclined, physically fit and able to lift up to 50lbs repeatedly throughout your shift. Standing, lifting, bending is required. This is a manufacturing environment.

• punching holes,
• filling them with gaskets,
• or building dampers

Once your skills are accessed you may move into a specific department such as the Foaming, Quality or Parts Department
$22.58 HOURLY - AFTERNOONS 330-1130 MONDAY – FRIDAY
$22.83 HOURLY - OVERNIGHTS 1130-730 SUNDAY - THURSDAY
The shifts do not rotate, this is a set schedule.
You must prove yourself to be reliable and have an aptitude for the requirements of the role.
ALL SHIFTS ARE 8 HOURS AND THIS IS A SET SCHEDULE
Who you are:

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Clear criminal record.
• Work efficiently as a team player and be able to work under minimal supervision.
• Effective in communication.
• Problem solver with excellent organizational skills.
• Enjoy hard work and physical labour.
• Available and reliable
• Physically able to stand, bend lift for extended periods of time
• CSA approve Steel Toe Boots
