Machine Operator
Temple Audio builds modular pedalboard systems designed for musicians. We’ve worked with musicians that have played for bands like OneRepublic, Modest Mouse, Rhianna, and Avril Lavigne (to name a few). Our mission is to help Artists pursue their best performance—whether that's an amateur building their first pedalboard, or a professional planning their next tour rig.
We are seeking an independent and motivated Machine Operator to join our team. As a Machine Operator, you will play a key role in the production and quality of our musical instrument equipment. You will be responsible for material handling, operating manufacturing equipment, and quality control. The ideal candidate will possess a strong work ethic, be detail oriented, and not compromise on quality.
Responsibilities:
- Operate manufacturing machines in accordance with established procedures and guidelines, ensuring precise execution of production processes.
- Conduct regular quality checks on components, verifying the quality and integrity of materials used in the manufacturing process.
- Uphold a clean and organized work environment, including proper storage of tools and materials to promote an efficient and safe workspace.
- Troubleshoot and address operational issues promptly, collaborating with team members and supervisors to ensure seamless production.
- Perform routine maintenance on machines to prevent malfunctions, reporting any issues to the maintenance team for timely resolution.
- Execute quality checks and tests on finished products, ensuring they meet Temple Audio quality standards.
- Meet production quotas and deadlines while maintaining a high standard of product quality.
- Actively participate in continuous improvement initiatives, contributing ideas and feedback to enhance manufacturing processes and overall efficiency.
- Monitor and maintain inventory levels for specific product SKUs, facilitating smooth production flow.
- Report any equipment malfunctions or safety concerns promptly to the appropriate personnel for resolution.
- Promote a safe working environment for oneself and team members.
Requirements and skills
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience with punch, brake, and laser operation
- Experience driving forklift
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship
- Basic computer skills
- Physical stamina and the ability to lift and move heavy objects as needed
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new manufacturing techniques and technologies
- Commitment to workplace safety and adherence to safety protocols
- Effective communication and teamwork—we like to maintain a fun and respectful work environment
- Interest in music and audio products is a bonus
