What role you will play in our team
Are you technically savvy and motivated to gain valuable experience? If you are passionate about safety, building positive relationships, and working within a strong team environment, then we have the role for you! We currently have an opportunity for an Engineering Student at our Cold Lake asset. You will get to develop your skills and put them to use maintaining and optimizing our rotating equipment.
What you will do
-Support our machinery program and collaborate with the operations, maintenance and technical teams
-Surveillance of machinery operating performance including recommendations to improve performance and reliability 
-Providing machinery input for change events including operating or setpoint changes
-Interfacing with maintenance and vendors to develop repair plans
-Specifying equipment new or replacement in kind equipment. 
About you
Skills and Qualifications
-Currently pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering
-To be considered for employment, your most recent unofficial transcript(s) must be submitted with your application
-Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
-Must be available for a 12- or 16-month term assignment
 
Preferred Qualifications/ Experience
-Valid class 5 driver's license and safe driving record
-Commitment to safety on and off the job
-Highly motivated, enthusiastic, results-oriented individuals who are energized by working with people and by achieving superior results
-Demonstrated leadership and strong academic skills
-Previous industry experience is considered beneficial, but not essential

Eligibility to work in Canada
