From terminals in Calgary, AB, Medicine Hat, AB, Edmonton, AB, Terrace, BC and Winnipeg, MB our experienced team of professionals provide exceptional transportation services to customers in a wide range of industries, including drywall, lumber, CO2 and bulk commodities throughout North America. We are a member of Alberta Transportation’s premier carrier program “Partner’s in Compliance”, and we hold a Certificate of Recognition from Alberta Worker’s Compensation Board.
Reporting to the Maintenance Manager and the Accounting Manager the Maintenance & Daily Operations Coordinator is accountable for the necessary administration, coordination and reporting needs for the Calgary office location. This includes tracking, scheduling and customer relations. Please note that this is a full-time work from the office position.
Core Responsibilities:
- Daily debriefs and updates for multiple teams and leaders
- Purchase and Work Order creation and completion management
- Driver and Dispatch support and service
- Create and manage shop and dealership bookings
- Track and document truck & unit movements and upkeep information and data records
- Manage tire, tow and mobile services for units and vendors
- Maintain tire inventory records for offsite locations
- Oversee for over building upkeep and scheduling maintenance as needed
Qualifications and Competencies:
- Minimum 3+ years’ experience in office management or similar roles
- Highly proficient in Microsoft applications, advanced skills in Excel
- Understanding of general accounts payable/receivable and accounting principles
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills and self-motivation
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize competing demands
- Demonstrates exceptional customer service and professionalism
- Experience with PeopleNet and/or MIR is considered an asset
