Maintenance Manager

Must direct and implement maintenance programs aimed at maintaining a zero-defect environment for guests. Inspects, maintains, and repairs all mechanical, electrical, and other equipment used by the guests or affecting the quality of their experience at our hotel. Ensure that the guest has a memorable stay by using the ICARE attitude with every guest.

Duties:

-Creates a safe and attractive environment for guests and associates by ensuring the hotel is maintained in accordance with safety standards.

-Completes hotel room and building repairs such as replacing ceiling tiles, filters, light bulbs, patching, and painting. Performs repairs on toilets, sinks, laundry facilities, kitchen, and other areas of the hotel property.

-Must have a high level of self-motivation and work with little to no supervision.

-Must be responsible for pool and maintenance inventory on a monthly basis.

-Keeps consistent communication with housekeeping supervisors.

-Must be capable of making adjustments and minor repairs to heating, cooling, ventilation, plumbing, and electrical. Will be responsible for calling tradesman in to complete other work as needed.

-Develops plans for completing routine and preventative maintenance and renovations and coordinate work with hotel department managers.

-Be able to work in a physically demanding position and be able to lift over 50 Lbs.

-Maintains safety and cleanliness of the exterior of the hotel, grounds, pool, and rooms.

-Ensures the hotel adheres to all regulatory and safety standards by meeting with government and health and safety inspectors, making corrections as needed.

-Ensure that lawn care and other landscaping are well maintained.

-Ensures that all snow removal and salting is taken care of in a timely manner for guest departure and arrival.

-Assisting in conference set-up when necessary.

-Lead a small part-time team that assist in the Maintenance department

-Performs other duties as required.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: $50,000.00-$70,000.00 per year

Experience:

• Carpentry: 2 years (preferred)
