Basic Purpose of Position:


The MRO Analyst supports the Jazz Technical Services Management Team in Dockline execution and aircraft delivery within time, cost, and quality targets by sourcing required data, developing business intelligence tools and reports, and assisting with labour and material resource requirements, cost-effectiveness, and quality standard analyses.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain business intelligence reporting to transform data into useful information and actionable insights.
  • Supporting data-driven decision-making, planning and management of resources for work requirements across multiple aircrafts.
  • Support management with aircraft delivery within time, cost, and quality targets via labour and material resource requirement, cost-effectiveness, and quality standard analyses.
  • Engage and collaborate with various departments to improve the overall performance of Heavy Maintenance, including the Production Control Team to optimize aircraft flows and IT Teams to optimize information flows.
  • Support MRO process improvement and program development.
  • Develop management reporting for the purpose of giving visibility to management to areas of action to improve processes.
  • Perform duties in accordance with established policies and procedures while giving primary consideration to personal safety, and the safety of co-workers and customers.
  • Other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Post-secondary degree in data analytics related field, including: Engineering, Applied Mathematics, Statistics, or Business is preferred.
  • Interest in aircraft heavy maintenance, production management, business intelligence, and/or data analytics.
  • Relevant experience with, aircraft heavy maintenance is preferred.
  • Relevant experience: in using Trax (Aircraft Maintenance Information System), SQL, Microsoft Power BI, and other Microsoft Office 365 applications is preferred.
  • Strengths in teamwork, collaborative continuous improvement, research, problem-solving, executing data, business intelligence projects, and communication.
