AddressBasic Purpose of Position:
The MRO Analyst supports the Jazz Technical Services Management Team in Dockline execution and aircraft delivery within time, cost, and quality targets by sourcing required data, developing business intelligence tools and reports, and assisting with labour and material resource requirement, cost-effectiveness, and quality standard analyses.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain business intelligence reporting to transform data into useful information and actionable insights, supporting data-driven decision-making, planning and management of resources and work requirements across multiple aircraft lines.
- Support management with aircraft delivery within time, cost, and quality targets via labour and material resource requirement, cost-effectiveness, and quality standard analyses.
- Engage and collaborate with various departments to improve the overall performance of Heavy Maintenance, including the Production Control Team to optimize aircraft flows and IT Teams to optimize information flows.
- Support MRO process improvement and program development.
- Develop management reporting for the purpose of giving visibility to management to areas of action to improve processes.
- Perform duties in accordance with established policies and procedures while giving primary consideration to personal safety, and the safety of co-workers and customers.
- Other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Post-secondary degree in data analytics related field, including Engineering, Applied Mathematics, Statistics, or Business.
- Interest in aircraft heavy maintenance, production management, business intelligence, and data analytics.
- Relevant experience: aircraft heavy maintenance preferred.
- Experience: using Trax (Aircraft Maintenance Information System) preferred.
- Proficiency in SQL, Microsoft Power BI, and other Microsoft Office 365 applications.
- Strengths in teamwork, collaborative continuous improvement, research, problem-solving, executing data and business intelligence projects, and communication.
