Maintenance Supervisor

CRSC is looking for a motivated and skilled individual to join our team and strives to have employees that are multi-faceted and versatile and capable of multi-tasking in several areas of the organization.

CRSC is currently looking for a maintenance technician with maintenance, repair, and upkeep experience in heavy equipment, vehicles, buildings, and machines. The candidate will be responsible for maintaining CRSC equipment and buildings as well as managing maintenance staff and outside contractors as required.

CRSC offers a full-time position, with a pension as well as health and dental benefits. The position is 45 hours per week. The wage will be evaluated on experience and knowledge, with a range of $30-$35 per hour.

Educational & Experience Requirements:

· Grade 12 High School diploma required.

· Knowledge of maintenance and best practices.

· Demonstrates time management and organizational skills.

· Experience managing maintenance workers and has strong leadership and interpersonal skills.

· Ability to repair equipment.

· Strong written and oral communication skills.

· Competency with computers.

· Dexterity and physical stamina.

· Minimum 5 years in field experience would be considered an asset.

· Mechanical License is considered an asset, but not required.

· Building/equipment maintenance experience would be considered an asset.

Main Duties

· Manage day-to-day maintenance tasks.

· Develop and oversee maintenance policies and procedures for CRSC equipment and facility maintenance.

· Responsible for planning, coordinating, managing, and executing of any repair tasks that arise.

· Responsible for handling emergency situations and after-hours calls for repair and maintenance when required.

· Assist in development of maintenance policies and standards for the organization.

· Plan daily tasks and delegating to staff under supervision.

· Plan daily checklists for equipment and maintain inspection lists with supervisors for buildings and equipment.

· Identify issues and the required actions for repair.

· Record maintenance intervals and organize services needed with outside suppliers.

· Plan and perform scheduled retrofits for equipment and buildings as required.

· Generate progress/cost reports for Operations Manager as required.

· Assist in planning and obtaining job quotes from contractors and suppliers.

· Conduct quality assurance inspections as needed.

· Oversee contractor crews.

· Escalate issues to management as required and recommend solutions.

· Ensure projects remain on schedule.

· Respond to maintenance requests.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: $30.00-$35.00 per hour
