Responsibilities:
· Completes Maintenance work orders and attends to maintenance-related guest room requests
· Repairs office furniture and equipment, housekeeping and banquet equipment
· Assists in all other on-going maintenance & engineering of the physical plant and ensure the highest standards of quality are maintained
· Assists in all other preventative maintenance and engineering measures
· Maintains safe work practices and the use of environmentally sound practices
· Responds to radio calls and address immediately issues related to guest or/and other department requests
· Pool and hot tub care
· Performs daily property sweep and walk-through
· Completes painting and plastering as required
· Provides exceptional guest service in all interactions
· Additional duties as requested by the Director of Engineering or Maintenance Manager
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven experience as a Maintenance Technician or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and plumbing systems.
- Proficient in using hand and power tools.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Effective communication skills in English.
