ATCO Frontec is seeking a Maintenance Worker/General Laborer to join our Camp Services team in Teslin, YK. The Maintenance Worker/General Laborer is responsible for performing various skilled and semi-skilled tasks to maintain a 24/7 facilities operation. Responsibilities include operating vehicles and equipment.
RESPONSIBILTIES:
- Performing tasks as assigned by the project team
- Working with the design team to ensure the project is on schedule and on budget
- Complete regular maintenance checks on equipment;
- Mopping floors of common areas;
- Cleaning washrooms;
- Completes routine and minor maintenance of dorms and kitchens;
- Responsible for snow removal, sanding and road maintenance;
Experience/Skills:
- At least one year of experience working as a laborer or similar position
- Experience with using hand and power tools (hammer, saws, drills, etc.)
- Experience working with concrete or masonry materials Strong work ethic and commitment to quality in all aspects of the job
