Maintenance/Custodian Worker

Duties

• Perform routine cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming
• Empty and clean trash receptacles
• Clean and sanitize restrooms and replenish supplies
• Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors
• Maintain cleanliness of common areas, including hallways and lobbies
• Follow established procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment
• Notify management of any repairs or maintenance needed
• Adhere to safety guidelines and maintain a safe working environment
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work performed, materials used, and costs incurred
• Collaborate with other departments to support facility-related projects and initiatives
• Assist in the development and implementation of facility maintenance policies and procedures
• Conduct routine inspections of facilities and equipment to identify any issues or potential problems
• Respond to maintenance requests in a timely manner and prioritize tasks based on urgency

Skills

• Facilities maintenance: Knowledge of basic facilities maintenance tasks, such as minor repairs and upkeep
• Ability to maintain a clean and organized work environment
• Experience in commercial cleaning preferred
• Attention to detail and thoroughness in completing tasks
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively
• Excellent customer service skills to interact with employees, tenants, and contractors
• HVAC experience is a plus
• Drywall Repair & Painting
• Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues
• Repair or replace faulty equipment, parts and components

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $17.00-$23.00 per hour
