SalaryWe at Banff International Hostel are looking for a new team member to join us adventuring in the mountains.
Responsibilities for Maintenance
- Basic electrical work (ex: changing light fixture)
- Basic plumbing (ex: replace a toilet)
- Basic carpentry (ex: fixing holes and cracks)
- Painting
- Upkeep of hostel grounds (snow/ice removal/gardening)
- General labour work
Responsibilities for Housekeeping
- Making beds
- Cleaning bathrooms
- Dusting and vacuuming
- Cleaning common areas (kitchen, common room, dining area, reception)
- Laundry duties
- General upkeep and cleanness of our beautiful hostel
Experience in a skilled trade is an asset.
Staff accommodation possible for the right candidate and will be located on site.

Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $17.00-$18.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Holidays
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
