Public Outreach is dedicated to creating a Positive Impact on the world's most pressing environmental and humanitarian issues. We collaborate with reputable organizations such as Greenpeace, Amnesty International, and Doctors Without Borders to achieve this objective.

We are currently seeking a Full-Time Face-to-Face Fundraiser who can inspire the public to provide long-term support to our partners. As a key contributor to our campaigns, you will exceed daily fundraising objectives and play a vital role in their overall success.

Are you passionate about making a difference? If so, we're looking for someone with the following attributes:

• Ability to confidently initiate meaningful conversations
• Enjoys working outdoors - rain or shine!
• Strong verbal communication, attentive listening skills, and a friendly demeanour are essential.
• Possesses a good sense of humour
• Displays a Positive, energetic, and enthusiastic attitude when working with colleagues and the public.
• Applicants with a background in improv, stand-up, or theatre performance are strongly preferred.

Unlike commission-based models, we offer a unique payment structure that prioritizes our staff. We offer a competitive starting rate of $21 per hour, and with 9 months of experience, you could earn up to $23 per hour.

To qualify, you must:

• You must be at least 18 years old.
• You must be authorized to work in Canada legally, without the need for employer sponsorship.
• The ability to commute around the HRM area is mandatory.
• You must be available to work 32 hours per week on a full-time basis.
• You must be willing to work four full shifts between Monday and Sunday.
• You must be available until 9 pm EST for each shift.
• You should possess excellent communication skills and be willing to advocate for various humanitarian and environmental causes.
• You should be comfortable working in a performance-based role and capable of meeting or exceeding fundraising targets.
