Purpose
Contributes to the overall success of the Canadian Banking Transition team in Canada ensuring specific individual goals, plans, initiatives are executed / delivered in support of the team’s business strategies and objectives. Ensures all activities conducted are in compliance with governing regulations, internal policies and procedures.
Is This Role Right for You?  In this role, you will:
-Effectively analyze partner credit submissions, with related documentation while operating within the Bank’s risk appetite and culture in day-to-day activities and decisions.
-Champions a customer focused culture to deepen client relationships and leverage broader Bank relationships, systems and knowledge.
-Responsible for the successful implementation and achievement of assigned outcomes for specific business line initiatives and strategies for the Canadian Retail Branch Network, including effective case and data management, ad hoc reporting, projections, and analysis.
-Contributes to the oversight and central governance of all assigned branch organization structure and position management reviews in alignment with business line short-term and long-term strategies, staffing guidelines, approval matrix, and authorized complement.
-Partners with District Vice Presidents/Branch Management to identify opportunities and/or present options related to effective organization structure and position management that best aligns staffing resources with customer needs.
-Provides coaching and support to business line leaders on change management strategies, communication and employee experience management. Escalates any difficult or exception situations as required, maintaining ownership until the situation is resolved.
-Understand how the Bank’s risk appetite and risk culture should be considered in day-to-day activities and decisions.
-Actively pursues effective and efficient operations of his/her respective areas, while ensuring the adequacy, adherence to and effectiveness of day-to-day business controls to meet obligations with respect to operational risk, regulatory compliance risk, AML/ATF risk and conduct risk, including but not limited to responsibilities under the Operational Risk Management Framework, Regulatory Compliance Risk Management Framework, AML/ATF Global Handbook and the Guidelines for Business Conduct.

-Post-secondary education.
-Expert knowledge of Bank staffing and operational practices, policies, and procedures including HR standard implementation guidelines.
-Excellent time management skills to satisfy the needs of a large client group
-Strong analytical skills to evaluate options and provide innovative solutions and advice.
-Strong influencing skills to work with partners without direct authority.
-Strong written and verbal skills required to interact effectively with business line leadership and internal partners.
-Thorough knowledge of the Canadian Retail Branch Network, including organization structure and positions.
-Thorough knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel
 
Working Conditions
Work in a standard office-based environment; non-standard hours are a common occurrence. The position is primarily non-physical with intermittent periods of sitting or standing.
