What is the opportunity?

The Manager, Global Functions Finance is responsible for maintaining EPM environment and ensuring integrity of Financials related to Actuals, Plan, Forecast, and Stress Test. They will centrally manage all hierarchy changes for GF including requests for new transits, new rollups and clean up of closed transits.

The Manager will also co-ordinate and manage centralized updates to GF forecast and plan in EPM by working closely with relevant stakeholders; as well as provide guidance and support to end-users relating to Finance systems, business rules (lines, hierarchies, product and segmentation) issues or requirements.

What you will do?

Hierarchy Management:

  • Act as a lead and manage hierarchy change requests for all of GF. Ensure requests are complete and do not conflict with business requirements.
  • Maintain GL-RLN hierarchies for Functions charges and recoveries. Monitor business rules to ensure all changes and new items are mapped appropriately.

Forecast & Plan Management:

  • Manage E2E Forecast & Plan, stress test processes in the financial system EPM including performing any Platform Admin activities. Become an expert within the team on understanding and managing HR cost module to support the forecasting and planning activities.
  • Manage User Access to data and tools.
  • Update and support Resource Planning and NIE Planning excel based templates/ models for GF forecast/ plan.
  • Conduct centralized uploads and other adjustments as required for forecast & plan.
  • Provide end user guidance and support. Serve as a team coordinator to resolve any system issues in a timely manner.
  • Maintain version control and scenario processes (recalcs, backup, copy, combo, clear, lock and unlock scenarios).
  • Consolidate and prepare official submissions in the system of forecasts, annual plan, five year outlook and stress test.
  • Coordinate, process and validate internal and official restatements to Actuals, Forecast, Plan and 5 Year Outlook.
  • Coordinate, determine, process and validate Top-side adjustment (Class I and II). Develop and maintain adjustment process including adjustment calculation methodology and approval.

Projects & Other:

  • Lead HR cost module or EPM enhancement projects for GF.
  • Participate as a SME in other projects and conduct UAT testing.
  • Actively look for efficiencies and process improvements.

Must-have

  • 3+ years experience in the industry
  • Data Analytics or Computer Science degree
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, prioritize work and get things done on time within tight deadlines
  • Attention to detail with strong focus on control
  • Excellent knowledge of finance systems and processes in financial institutions
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent proficiency in Excel
  • Candidate must be an independent worker, proactive, creative and innovative self-starter
  • Champion and support creative solutions that focus on continuous improvement.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to interact with Financial Advisors and other Finance team members.

Nice to Have

  • Knowledge of EPM Cognos including HR cost module and FIBRS
