The SMB Strategy, Planning & Business Intelligence team is responsible for driving the profitable growth of our SMB (Small to Medium Business) P&L through strategic program development, P&L management, and strategic insights, while serving an advisory role for cross-functional stakeholders such as our Marketing, Pricing, and Finance teams.

What you'll do

As Manager, Managed IT Planning & Insights, you will lead the team responsible for the annual, quarterly, and monthly business and financial planning processes for our Managed IT P&L. Our Leadership team will depend on you directly for stewardship, strategic guidance, and performance insights on the Managed IT P&L, a fast-growing and dynamic part of our business.

You will also be responsible for strategic reviews of the Managed IT financial budget and key operating metrics, business case development, and ad-hoc deep dives to enable executive decision support. Reporting directly to the Director, SMB Strategy & Enablement, you will also be responsible for guiding and coaching a high performance, high engagement strategic planning team.

• Lead the development of the annual/long-term and short-term financial and KPI plans for the Managed IT P&L and monitor performance relative to these plans
• Lead or contribute to semi-annual strategy reviews/presentations
• Manage the monthly forecasting process and deliver monthly/bi-weekly performance updates to the Senior Leadership team
• Mentor and coach direct team members and collaborate with key stakeholders
• Investigate changes to underlying business performance, assess key market shifts, and size the business impact of opportunities and risks
• Develop scenario-based analyses and make strategic recommendations to the Senior Leadership team

Qualifications

What you bring

• Strong business acumen and a proven ability to synthesize data & operating results into actionable insights
• High proficiency in business and financial analysis, with deep Excel & Google Sheets competence
• Self-directed with a hypothesis-based approach to problem solving
• Consulting, Strategy or Finance/FP&A backgrounds would be highly valued
• University degree and 7+ years of relevant experience
