Job Description: The Manager of Building & Operational Support Services is accountable for the effective and efficient administration of St. Peter's Hospital, St. Paul Lutheran Home and Melville and District Health Centre Maintenance & Plant Operations, and Melville and District Health Centre Housekeeping & Laundry Departments consistent with the mission, vision, values, policies and procedure of the above noted organizations.
In the absence of the St. Peter's Hospital Manager, the Manager of Building & Operational Support Services provides full coverage of the day to day operations of St. Peter's Hospital.
In the absence of the St. Paul Lutheran Home Manager of Operational Support Services, the Manager of Building & Operational Support Services will provide support for day to day operations.
Experience
Previous supervisory experience is required.
Three to five years experience in Building Services and /or related field an asset.
Background in Labour Relations is considered an asset.
A minimum of one to three years of experience in Health Care Management is an asset.
The Saskatchewan Health Authority (SHA) requires a criminal record check (CRC) from every potential SHA team member. The CRC must be dated within the past six (6) months and be satisfactory to the SHA. A vulnerable sector check (VSC) is required for individuals providing patient/resident/client care to vulnerable persons.
