Reporting to the Director of Clinic Operations, the Manager, Regional Clinic Operations plays a crucial role in overseeing and managing the day-to-day operations of infusion clinics within the organization. This position requires a combination of leadership, operational expertise, and a strong understanding of infusion therapy. The Manager, Regional Clinic Operations is responsible for ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care, compliance with regulatory standards, and the efficient functioning of the infusion clinics.

How you will make an impact

  • Collaborate with the Director of Coverdale Infusion Clinics to establish and maintain clinical protocols and standards.
  • Displays the practice of nursing in accordance with professional values and moral principles and maintains confidentiality as appropriate.
  • Monitor and evaluate the quality of services in Coverdale Clinics to ensure adherence to best practices, regulatory requirements and KPI’s.
  • Encourage and facilitate nursing clinic staff to actively participate in Continuous Quality Improvement initiatives by fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
  • Provide guidance and support to ensure that nursing clinic teams engage in regular quality assessment, identify areas for enhancement, and implement evidence-based practices to elevate the overall quality of patient care.
  • Oversee the daily operations of Coverdale Infusion Clinics, including resource allocation and patient flow.
  • Support and empower nursing clinic teams in participating in relevant research activities by promoting awareness of current research trends and opportunities.
  • Work closely with Coverdale Regional Clinic Managers (CRCM), CRC, PSP and other healthcare professionals to optimize clinic workflows and enhance patient experience.
  • Ensures nursing staff work within their scope of professional responsibility as defined by their job descriptions.
  • Implement and maintain efficient systems for inventory management of infusion supplies, medications, and cold chain management.
  • Supervise, mentor, and coaching CRCM’s.
  • Foster a positive and collaborative work environment that promotes professional growth and development.
  • Conduct regular meetings to communicate updates, share best practices and address any concerns and conduct Performance Management for the team.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant healthcare regulations, accreditation standards, and safety guidelines.
  • Stay informed about changes in healthcare laws and regulations related to different therapies and implement necessary adjustments.
  • Implement quality improvement initiatives to enhance the overall effectiveness of clinics.
  • Analyze data and performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and develop action plans accordingly.
  • Collaborate with the Clinical Education team to develop educational materials and programs for Coverdale patients.
  • Ensures nursing personnel complete annual nursing competencies (self-review) in line with Provincial Nursing Association Competency Guidelines.
  • Ensure that nurses provide patients and their families with adequate information about their treatment plans, potential side effects, and self-care.
  • Performs appropriate committee functions as assigned by Director of Clinic Operations.
  • Responsible to report any patient safety information as per adverse event reporting requirements and product quality complaints reporting requirements; and
  • Other duties as required.

What you’ll bring to our team

  • Bachelor’s degree in nursing or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • Current licensure as a registered nurse (RN) or other relevant healthcare professional.
  • 5 years of experience in Infusion clinic management & Specialty Drug .
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of healthcare regulations and accreditation standards
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse healthcare team.
