About the team

For organizations to stay relevant, competitive and ensure their survival, they must navigate the risks of disruption. Through this disruption, they must ensure the mechanisms that protect and support the organization evolve to take advantage of emerging technologies. The Technology Risk Advisory team is committed to offering expert advice, credible challenge, and effective oversight of information security and technology activities. Our goal is to identify, assess, control, and manage cyber and Technology Risk across our clients' organizations. 

What will your typical day look like?

 

As a Manager, you will lead the delivery of Technology Risk advisory services to premier organizations across Canada. You will oversee workshops and deliverables, assisting our clients to envision and implement new strategies for managing Technology Risks within their organizations. Collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams, you will play a key role in mitigating the risks our clients face. You will also be challenged to learn and apply new technologies to address our clients' most complex issues.

Are you someone who thrives in a collaborative environment, with experience in Technology Risk management? Do you have experience working within the Three Lines of Defense model? Are you eager to apply your knowledge in advising our diverse clientele on managing Technology Risks amid an era of unprecedented digital transformation?


You are someone who is:


•    An experienced consultant with 5+ years of relevant work experience in Technology Risk consulting or a related field.
•    A graduate with a university degree in a business or accounting discipline with outstanding grades. CPA or CISSP, or CISA qualification or equivalent is preferred.
•    A strategic, pro-active person with the ability to synthesize large amounts of information to produce clear and concise presentations and reports
•    Experienced with designing and maintaining risk frameworks, with understanding of key industry control frameworks (NIST Cyber Security Framework, COSO, COBIT, ISO 27000, etc.)
•    Strong analytical skills, including segment risk analysis, data analysis, and comparative analysis. Ability to identify root causes on risk exposures and to correlate multiple risk exposures to assess aggregated risks and enterprise compensating controls
•    Understands Financial Services regulations and how Technology supports the lines of business in delivering any associated change
•    The ability to synthesize technical concepts into practical terms for a wide/non-technical audience 
•    Ability to effectively interact with cross functional teams and all levels of management
•    Experienced in the Financial Services industry is an asset
•    Proficient in Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Project, Visio and SharePoint
•    Experience in coaching and developing consultants/seniors
•    Experience leading a team, with a strong desire to connect with people

Total Rewards


The salary range for this position is $104,000 - $173,000, and individuals may be eligible to participate in our bonus program.
