The Manager Wealth Services will be responsible for leading and directing a team of Wealth representatives while implementing a growth strategy designed around traditional means combined with a digital business development focus. Building a world class member experience, enhancing client relationships, managing the financial counseling process, and enhancing the integration of these services with the credit union are also core to this role.
What will you do?
- Support strategic initiatives including the development and execution of projects by working closely with wealth leadership and team members.
- Implement business development strategies to retain and expand existing member relationships, identify member needs, and pursue new sources of business.
- Develop sales targets and business development plans to achieve sales targets each year.
- Meet regularly with the wealth management sales team to coach and review sales goals and practice management results.
- Cultivate and endorse effective integration between wealth management employees and the credit union towards knowledge sharing and building a successful referral network.
- Support Innovation Wealths process and project development and management, change management, and agile disciplines/methodology.
Some things that would impress us:
- Completion of a post-secondary program in Business, Commerce, Finance/Economics and completion of a financial designation, and/or equivalent combination of education and experience
- 5+ years' leadership experience unique to wealth management
- Wealth sales background with MFDA or IIROC certification is an asset
- Proven leadership, communication and collaboration skills with the ability to build relationships
- Proven strategic thinker, proven sales and service skills
- Excellent planning, organizational and time management skills
- Competency in Microsoft Office 365
