Titan Boats is searching for a Marine Painter or Apprentice to join our team in Victoria, BC. Titan Boats specializes in designing and building aluminum hulled inflatable boats for customers around the world. The Marine Painter is responsible for prepping and finishing our vessels while maintaining Titan’s reputation for exceptional quality. This includes prepping and finishing parts, assemblies and refits but mostly working on our new vessels.

Your day as a Marine Painter may include:

• Working closely with a Journeyman Painter to learn all the facets of the painting trade
• Following all health and safety protocols
• Prepping parts, assemblies and vessels
• Mixing and applying finishes
• Conducting quality control checks to ensure all work is done to Titan’s standards.

What will make you successful?

• Some experience in marine or automotive painting and finishing.
• Strong work ethic. The paint shop is often required to work long hours in order to meet deadlines.
• Experience with Marine coatings and finishes an asset.
• Ability to operate the equipment and tools applicable to the position.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to troubleshoot and problem-solve.
• Strong communication skills with written and oral fluency in English.
• Ability to reach above head height, stand, walk, kneel, bend, and reach

Salary: $22.00-$38.00 per hour
