Do you like a challenge? Do you love to help others? Senior Citizens Assistance non profit program is looking for a temporary, part time, short-term Marketing and community outreach person. You are enthusiastic and confident in working on your own. This is a varied role which combines promotion of our programs to the business community, to senior citizens, and to potential volunteers within Moose Jaw and surrounding 30 minutes away rural areas. A professional who has the ability to build strong external relationships. You will have experience in planning, marketing, and coordinating events from nothing to successful completion. You'll provide the link between the community and our non profit. You have a sound knowledge of event planning and Marketing and excel at customer service.
You are able to lead your projects on your own. You will also possess initiative, have the capability to manage multiple tasks at once. You will also develop, market and promote internal and external events to increase: clients, community organizations, and volunteers. You are easy going, flexible, and cheerful when called upon to fill in at the office taking registrations by phone and walk ins, or head out to a senior home to fill in as a companion or do an errand for a senior. You have Microsoft office proficiency. You will need your own vehicle to travel around Moose Jaw and into the rural communities.
You will also market our programs to the rural towns and municipalities as well as recruit seniors and volunteers from those areas. If multitasking in many different roles in every changing environment is something you enjoy, we would love to hear from you. Must be available for shifts in January and February part time, between 9 am and 4 pm, Monday to Friday. With possibility for extension depending upon future grant funding.
