As the Marketing Coordinator, youll play a pivotal role in turning world class concepts into reality. Your day will be spent working alongside a team of marketing professionals to develop exciting campaigns for our clients. Captives fast-paced work environment will keep you engaged and motivated as youll be able to put your creativity and problem-solving skills to the test daily. Whether youre involved with some of Saskatchewan's largest events or your planning one from the ground up, your day will always be different and exciting. YOUR RESPONSIBILITY
Youll work with the XM Director and Staffing Coordinator to ensure that campaigns and events run smoothly. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Scheduling and booking event venues
Sourcing and procuring promotional assets
Creating and maintaining relationships with clients and vendors
Attending events to ensure proper execution
Social media planning and execution
YOUR SKILLS
While were all about figuring stuff out on the job, there are a few things we think youll need in order to jump into the fray without sinking;
Although post-secondary education is preferred, it is not crucial. It is more important to us that you have at least 2 years of experience working in community relations, event planning, event marketing and/or logistics.
Organization, attention to detail and resourcefulness.
Ability to learn new technology
Maintaining relationships with vendors and clients is a large part of the job so strong
communication and interpersonal skills is a must.
Youll be required to work with projected time frames and budgets so strong organizational skills is paramount.
Your ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment will be a huge asset during our busy seasons
